A little about me
" The nature within me" |

“The nature within me” Nature and I resemble each other in quite a few ways. I am a free soul just as the winds in the sky. I have a calm spirit just like the beautiful waters of Mother Nature. Nature has quiet soothing nights and I have a quiet laid back demeanor. However, these comparisons can go on and on but, it may still not do us enough justice. What nature and I have is something that from the outside looking in seems like a fantasy. Rather than a fantasy I would say we have bond that you have to be apart to understand. Next, my experiences with nature are some of the memories I will cherish forever. I remember the time while walking a long country road I saw a wild turkey. I was so shocked that my body immediately stiffens. Moments after returning to full capability I had the sudden urge to try and pet the wild turkey. I slowly approached the turkey with a mind not to scare it off. After the longest 10 yard walk of my life I was suddenly in reaching distance of the turkey. With my arms as heavy as bricks I nervously pet the turkey with a smile going from ear to ear. However, still to this day I am confused to why this wild turkey allowed me to pet him. My only theory is that maybe this wild turkey could sense the nature we both had within us. Additionally, sometimes I can mistake nature for an actually person. I can say this because nature at times feels like a friend to me. It can be releasing some of my negativity out such as my emotions, thoughts, and hardships. Sometimes it’s a helpful ear to talk to when no one is there. No matter what the problem may be I would most likely open up to nature about it. I was constantly being teased growing up over weight in elementary. At that time that was an extremely tough time for me. However, I decided to talk to nature about it and soon after I felt a soothing comfort afterwards. Lastly, my ideal of nature is a place of acceptance. Nature will accept everyone no matter the size, appearance, and personality. Whatever you have to offer great or small nature will be there to appreciate those qualities. Opening up initially to nature can seem a bit weird. It’s clear no one is there, but once you try it you become a free soul and care less about that feeling. Just think of nature as imaginary friend that’s with you always. |
